- NICOTEX MINT PLUS FLAVOUR 4MG contains Nicotine which belongs to the group of medicines called Smoking Cessation Aids. It is used to quit smoking. - Chew NICOTEX MINT PLUS FLAVOUR 4MG slowly in your mouth. Do not swallow the medicine. Your doctor will decide the number of doses to be taken per day depending upon the number of cigarettes that you smoke in a day.
- Before taking NICOTEX MINT PLUS FLAVOUR 4MG, inform your doctor if you have any heart, liver, or kidney diseases. You must also inform your doctor if you have diabetes, stomach problems, thyroid problems, or fits before taking NICOTEX MINT PLUS FLAVOUR 4MG as a precaution.
- Do not take NICOTEX MINT PLUS FLAVOUR 4MG if you are allergic to nicotine or if you are a child aged below 12 years. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding must try to quit smoking without using nicotine replacement therapy. However, if it is not possible, NICOTEX MINT PLUS FLAVOUR 4MG can be used in such women to quit smoking after consulting their doctor.
- The most common side effects of taking NICOTEX MINT PLUS FLAVOUR 4MG are ulceration of the mouth, tongue, or throat, hiccups, nausea, increased salivation, and stomach pain. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects worsen.
