Montair FX tablet is an anti-allergic medicine. It is used to obtain relief from symptoms of allergic rhinitis. This medicine provides relief from a runny and stuffy nose, blockage in airways, sneezing, itching, watery eyes and other allergic symptoms. It contains a combination of two medicines, namely, montelukast and fexofenadine as active ingredients. Montelukast and fexofenadine block the action of different molecules that cause allergy symptoms. Allergic rhinitis is a common condition that affects an individual's quality of life and, if left untreated, can contribute to asthma, otitis media and sinusitis. Allergic rhinitis is also known as hay fever. It is a condition of inflammation or swelling inside your nose due to an allergen. Montair FX tablets should be taken in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by the doctor. You can take this medicine with or without food. However, it is advised to consume it at the same time every day for optimum benefit. Do not use this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless recommended by a doctor. Montair FX tablet is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 15 years of age. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients.
